I was shooting with Clint Smith yesterday who came to visit a mutual friend's outfit this week.

In conversing with him I got the distinct impression that he was not a big fan of mouseguns either..

Both he and his lovely bride are truly rare gems, and an absolute blast to hang out with. Shooting, dining etc with the Thunder Ranch Crew is a true treat. Great Americans. Mrs Smith is really a class act.

Clint Smith talked a bit about Mr. Cooper and the evolution of pistolcraft, as well as when he worked for Mr. Cooper. It was great to listen to him, just as it is always great to listen to Ken Hackathorn talk about his time with Mr. Cooper. When these gentlemen talk I simply sit back and enjoy the fact that I am experiencing a treat that is beyond rare.

A whole host of other rather interesting folks were there as well, but that is a story for another time and place..
