Hawk your post reminded me of a meeting I had, when I was a Marine Aviator, with an Army Captain Aviator down in Honduras. He and I were coordinating an amphibious training exercise with the Honduran Army. The U.S. Army was flying CH-47s, with Warrant pilots. I asked him why he wasn't flying. He told me, with a straight face, that the Army held commissioned officer aviators in reserve to fly only the secret BGD-5. Not wanting to sound too misinformed, I admitted I was not familiar with that aircraft. He replied, it's a "Big Gray Desk with five drawers. We both had a good laugh.
