Most of those infantry guard round up brigades are not ready for any uptempo operations at all and putting em in the fire with their level of training is basically murder.
Most of em cant even make pre deployment readiness standards
Training wise and man power wise if activated.
They usually wind up doing hard site guard duties for the most part.
Her appointment is purely a PC feel good move and appeasement for the vote in california even though it is really not needed in liberal wasteland.
She is probably a Liberal Socialist Democrat being appointed intially by either Jerry brown or gavin newsome.
