Then you say you would be interested in a $100,000 plus AMG 63S wagon. Prior to that you said you don't need the attention of a Vette. Well you think a $100,000 Mercedes isn't a status symbol attention grabber? The movie stars would probably show more than a little interest because of it.
It is a Vette thread, and your not being interested in Vettes is duly noted. As is your interest in status symbol Mercedes.
What you traded in a Tacoma for has nothing to do with Vettes or Mercedes, unless you are looking to brag and garner some attention.

I agree with everything you say, esp the odd people part.
The Mercedes logo is one of the biggest status' grabbers out there. My last 2018 Tacoma was purchased used at the local Mercedes dealership. The place was plastered with status logos. I like station wagons but probably would not buy one of those if I could.
