I guess I'm confused. Have you heard of Jim Thorpe or know of his history? It's hard to interpret some folks post it looks like.
I guessing he means Jim Thorpe was a Red Man. Native American. And he was definitely one of the greatest American athletes, IMO.
Yes, that was it exactly. And though I don't and never really have followed sports, I was taught from a very early age about Jim Thorpe and what an absolutely exceptional athlete he was. How anyone could be familiar with him and his accomplishments, but yet not be aware he was an indian frankly baffles me.
