Swamp hunting is interesting.
Do deer bed in that grass/water? Or they just traveling trough?
How do gators / deer get along? Lot of gators = scarce deer?
They will bed down in the grass. Most of the marsh is not flooded so they are out of the water. There are wooded ridges along the bayous also.
I am sure the big alligators kill a number of deer, but we seem to have healthy populations of both.
