The idea for it was taken from right here on the Campfire. A guy named Pete used to post here, from Wales, IIRC. He had went hunting in Scotland and posted some pics of his stand, so I borrowed from it and built mine. Must be around ten years back. I can't recall. Last pic is one of the shooting lanes. There were some more boards added to it after it got down there. I also put a little dent in the top, but it's covered up by the tin that I put over the sub-roof later on. I was going to paint it camo or earth tone but never got around to it, and though it's untreated, the lumber has weathered and really fits in with the landscape better than most paint would have. It's also holding up good.
