No, nothing wrong with imagining God in an image you best relate to. A relationship is the whole point. For instance in the book and movie "The Shack" God the Father was portrayed as a heavy set middle aged Black woman who loved to cook. Explanation in the book was that was the image that the protagonist could best relate to. And did the fundamentalists go nuts! Why not? Personally some image with a body like Hercules and great flowing white hair and beard never did much for me. Maybe it was the black cook in nursery school.She made the best apple brown Betty.
