this is an exceedingly difficult subject for folks who have done their best to follow the tradition nearly forever.
some people, right or wrong, who walk amongst us say it's heresy to worship any image of god whatsoever.
what does he/she/they look like? god is undefinable, no image whatsoever.
that idea or concept of the Great Divine, just seems to set some folks on fire.
