how many gods or their descendents lived up on top of mt olympus?

we humans have struggled for some 2000 years to reduce the number of gods to a more manageable number.

astarte was a good one too. the patriarchs of the hebrew tradition ran an organized system to kill off the goddess religion.

i just hate it when the ancient gods were involved in competition because of their various followers. and noone had a good camera.
