My Boykin has a lot of ear problems, especially after swimming. I use drops after he’s been in the water and if I see him scratching at his ears or if they begin to smell. The vet also recommended white vinegar if we didn’t have drops, but that never seemed to work for him. It was very persistent at first and then went away after a round of antibiotics, now it only comes back occasionally and true drops will rid him of the infection until he gets wet again.
