Also the largest ranch in Hawaii, and all the land from Cokeville to the Wyoming border in Utah. Several large ranches in Texas, Colorado, (Uncompadre, IIRC) and 100s of Welfare farm acerages.
I believe I know of every significant landowner on the Uncompahgre. I don’t think the Mormon Church is one, even as some sort of vague corporate shell. Certainly not of any significance at least. Doesn’t mean they don’t own any lands in Colorado, just not around here at any major scale at least.
