This makes complete sense. I also wonder whether China has a vaccine already and had it before CV-19 "leaked" out.
China's economic hit will reverberate for years. They depend on exports. And many country's will hopefully wean themselves back on China dependency. I can't see what they stand to gain by prolonging the suffering elsewhere. I do understand why they tried to hide it...and hopefully they learned from that mistake.
