Jdb: From my observations of my friends Rifles and what little Ground Squirelling I have done this spring with my 17 Hornet you may be right?
Low recoil, no barrel heat, relatively quiet and I have seen my friends clipping off the diminutive Gophers easily out at 250 yards with their 17 Hornets (CZ's and Ruger 77's).
Which bullet are you using on the Coyotes?
