IF, there is a civil war it won't be a fight with guns, it will be internet, government, elections etc. We all just essentially went through a dry run of how it will go. Invent a national issue, shut things down, control the people. Poof, to late to revolt. Any armed resistance will be squashed fast and hard. Don't want this? Elect good officials, especially president. Given where we are today, civil war will come out of house and senate and go "around" the president. Can't be done currently as they don't have veto proof majority.
There's no reason to fight fair, winners write history!
