I was gifted a nice custom 8mm-06 when I got out of the army in '67. For 50 years, it did it all, well. Before the days of fancy bullets, I loaded Rem Cor-lokts, 185 gr over Blc-2 and nowadays use 175 TSX with CFE .223, which duplicates the old load, maybe a little more accurate. Anyway, 50 years of good service Arizona to Alaska. You will be pleased, I think.
