I have always wanted a 8mm-06 Improved.
Back 20 plus years ago when I wanted something bigger than a 270 and not as brutal as a 338WM. I researched the 8mm-06, 338-06, 35 Whelen and their AI counterparts. I settled on a plain old 338-06 and have not looked back. The 8mm got serious consideration,but the lack of bullet choices turned me off and never wanted to mess with the fireforming of brass hassle of the AI's.
