I've had a Ruger 77V .220 Swift for about thirty years. I got rid of my .22-250s and don't miss them even if ballistics are about the same as the Swift. My 77V is on it's second barrel. When I was living in great coyote country in North Texas, my gunsmith remarked: "a .222 or .223 is fine for coyotes, but the kills are more dramatic with a Swift". I found that to be a true statement.
