I can't imagine an AK being fired in a crowd five times and no one in the crowd gets injured, has it been confirmed the AK was actually fired? Or are we just assuming it was based on the audio? Sound does weird things with taller buildings around. There are some things about this shooting that just don't make sense especially the 5 shots, then a pause, then 3 more shots.

Yeah, the pause makes perfect sense. The guy with the pistol probably hadn’t even started to unass his weapon until the AK tard shot at him.
