Trump & McConnell don’t have a choice, they have to push one through.
Amy Barrett is the obvious choice, mainly because she’s a woman & that would take away a lot of the dems thunder.
Trump has to do it though, I’d say his re-election hinges on it. That means many in the GOP will be fighting him on it.
She'd likely be a good choice, at least regarding the Second Amendment. The Dems can't credibly accuse her of raping some guy at a party when she was in college.
