I don't. I shoot the same Remington 700 in 30/06 that I bought with money I earned from delivering newspapers back in 1971. Every scrape, nick, scratch or mar in the stock reminds me of past hunts. The worn bluing reminds me of the time spent in a scabbard hunting elk on horseback. That big gouge is from falling in an avalanche shoot during a mtn goat hunt. It worked just fine a couple weeks ago on an antelope hunt. Bob
