Well, glad you’re among the upright. NG’s are for GI decompression for suspected or known bowel obstruction. While they help in that regard they were invented in medieval times as a form of torture. Kidding though almost all patients don’t think so.
That non-stop vomiting for days can throw a lot of things out of wack, seriously out of wack. And doc’s that don’t stop and listen to the patients still have a lot to learn.
