My first time at a JM's was quite disappointing. That was in another state, and a few years ago. We finally got a bunch of them here, and my opinion switched 180 degrees. MUCH better than Sub(standard)Way and Jimmie Junk. I rank them with Firehouse for quality, which is saying something.
None of them will ever measure up to a genuine Muffaletta from Central Grocery in N'awlins, but a damn good sammich nonetheless.
I like subs once in awhile, but I also got my hairy eyeball on how they make em also.
If khan/ wife is bringing home she is a hawk on how they make em also.
Waaaay more picky than me.
Old tomatoes are a no go for me.
Lettuce .... oh hell no......
