Sako picked em up around europe after WW2 did some customizing and sold em in American Px,s in europe till the early 60,s.

This sure as heck didnt look like this when I found it at a pawnshop.
Probably one of the better project rifles I have ever done.

Sightron SII 3-9X42
Burris low rings
Weaver steel base,s

Installed during the off season
Timney trigger set at 2pd 2 oz
26 pd wolff firing pin spring
Zeroed it earlier this week.
Accurate and hard hitting with Sellior & Bellot 196gr SPCE 2592 fps

I killed a shriveled ball sack 3.5 yr mutant 5 pt last year with it after running it down for a shot for about 300 yds of stop and start running on Slumlords place.

He was a spectator for the whole thing, cause we was actually getting his 8pt outta the woods he shot earlier.

About 115 125 yds thru the timber.
Deer never had a chance.
Never seen a Buck thru the scope body shudder like that on impact so hard before.
Left a instant blood trail stevie wonder could have followed for 40 yds.
LOL!!!
I got 2 Buck tags for rifle season starting tommorow morning.
