Any evidence of widespread voting fraud will be one of the primary reasons, possibly THE primary reason, given for the split that's looming. If the presidential election is not legitimate because of illegal shenanigans that can be proven, what other result could occur with what the Dems, including Biden, are proposing? If the Senate goes to the Dems and they do what they've been saying they're going to do with Biden/Harris in the White House, violating the Constitution on top of whatever questionable stuff happened in the election in some states, I can't see the Union existing 10 years from now. I don't want that outcome because things will probably be worse than they were 160 years ago, but things aren't looking good for a reconciliation.
Some will say the deep division is Trump's fault, but Trump has been a symptom of the division - not the cause, and his election four years ago was the result of the divisiveness from 2008 to 2016 with the administration in power then weaponizing the IRS, the Dems ending the filibuster for judicial nominations when they controlled the Senate last, etc. The stark divide started with Florida in the 2000 election and has progressively gotten worse over the past 20 years with some Dem controlled states trampling the Constitutional rights of their citizens while catering to criminal elements.
