Hanco & Gooch McGrundle: No Robins seen so far this year in my neck'o the woods.
Have four different types of small birds in my feeders along with the soon to be kill't nest raiding Magpies.
Have only seen the Hungarian Partridges a time or two this winter.
The Mule Deer learned to reach over the lips of my bird feeders this winter so I had to raise the feeders up 2 feet - now a couple have learned to stand on their hind legs and lick over the lip of the feeders another 12" higher and the problem there should be solved.
Incredible numbers of Canada Geese in the fields adjacent to my home.
I think they all wintered here.
Saw lots of Snow Geese migrating over this past season along with numerous flocks of Swans.
A few Hawks of different species have shown up lately - NO Ospreys back from Central America as yet.
Looking forward here to the first Robin.
Hold into the wind
