I think you’ve nailed it. I’ve only been admitted to a hospital once in my life, about 3 years ago, so I only have that experience. Every nurse, aid, and tech I had was professional, efficient, and polite.
The second morning, the night nurse was doing turnover with the day nurse. She said, “Mr xxx is not like most of our patients.” Of course, I’m thinking, “oh hell, where’s this going?” She went on to explain that, “ he’s quiet, doesn’t ring the call button incessantly, doesn’t get out of bed, and says please and thank you.”
