I’m going to opine that the shocks are fine, just part of the “fuuk the women customer” mechanic scheme.
OP, have you looked at the shocks? Are they leaking fluid? Does the truck bounce and sway over bumps?
I think that is mostly the calibration that Ford selected. The vehicle rolls and bounces. None of the shocks show signs of oil leak.
