I kick myself in the ass for getting rid of my first fishing rod and reel. My long-deceased Grandpa gave it to me on my 7th birthday.
A green 6 1/2 - 7 foot Abu Garcia with the now classic Mitchell spinning reel. Over the years I used it so much I wore line grooves in the metal guides. Loved that fishing pole. Never occurred to me that it could be rebuilt.
