Thems my thoughts on the subject too. Course we don't have a season on songbirds here anyway. Never felt I was missing out on much by not shooting birds you need 10 to a person to make a meal.


I'd hunt them if we ever get any rain to fill some dirt stock tanks. Mostly because those aren't crowded fields. I may not have the success some do there, but a couple of doves (they are tasty) would be equivalent to a couple of quail and that's enough for me sometimes.
