I went through phases in this order, 270, 30-06,300 WM, 7x57, 308,257 Roberts and this year the 30-06 will get some play again.
Yup, I've hunted with a lot of different rifles & cartridges, but the 30-06 has been a favorite for a long time. Funny how one cartridge or another attracts us. Most of 'em work just fine.
