I'm still using some 180gr Sierra Sptz I got 51 years ago, and I recently ran out of WWII surplus 4831, so I use the new stuff, 59gr stuffed into the brass. My Pre-64 Mdl 70 is a 3-digit serial number (36x) I bought from a kid who inherited it and wanted a "7 MAG" back in 1962.

I once had 12 guns in 30-06; some were combo guns and a double rifle Valmet. I'm down to the Mdl 70 and a very light custom 98 FN Supreme in a Pound'r stock.
