My dad was a 1 gun, 1 bullet guy for everything. Rifle is a FN Musketeer in 30-06, bullets were always a 165gr Nosler Partician. His scope was a Redfield 3-9 with the post reticle. I forget the bases now, but it had windage and elevation adjustments in it, Bhuler maybe? Anyway, everything he hunted fell to it. Moose, elk, deer and a couple unfortunate coyotes.
