Everyone over 25 should be eating a low glycemic diet - there are a million ways to accomplish it without starving. After about two weeks, you will no longer have an appetite for sugar and simple carbs.

I am a believer in the insulin hypothesis, consistent with your statement.

The low fat vegetarians are fighting back with studies that start with healthy people, cut out the sugar and prepared foods..... they are hard to beat short term.

But once you have old sick people, the vegies are easy to beat.
