FWIW, I started a more or less Keto diet a month ago: no sugar, no bread, no rice, no taters (except a few in a pot of veggie soup), no pasta…. you get the picture. Not really counting, but most days I’m sure I’m under 20 grams. Meat, butter, cheese, raw veggies, eggs, avacado, a little milk, plain yogurt are mainly what I eat. Drink a little red wine and dark rum over ice with lemon and sometimes unsweetened tea. Down 16lbs so far. Not hungry, don’t crave sugar or other sweets. Feel much better overall. Long way to go, but results like this make it easy to stay with it.
