Yes, I`m very satisfied with the way this rifle/cartridge performs with 150 Hornadys at 300yrds. Will you believe me when I say MOA. So, I`m hoping for a shot or two.
I also tried Rem 185`s at three. Both bullets print same POI. I would love this combo for elk, but may have to wait a year or so.
Steelhead...any excessive fouling? or has that problem been lessened with the TSX`s? I think bullets in this weight range are perfect for the 8x57. Proved that to my satisfaction last wkend at the range with the 185 Rem`s. I`m going with 150`s because I`ve got a bunch already loaded.
