depends on how fast and good you are with a bolt.where and what your hunting,also if there are grizz in the area.i have a 358 win i bought 30 years ago for thick country up close black bear hunting.only lever i own along with my 45-70.so be honest with yourself with what you handle quicker.if in open country go bolt in suitable caliber.i have several custom rifles.between 22 -250 and 416 remington.one of my favorites is my 35 whelen.also my lever guns had some modifications and action work done by brockmans gunsmithing years ago.best of luck with your choice.
