Of the 2, I'd pick the 358 for most builds.

The 350 is a bit faster, but holds 2 less in the mag and kicks harder, and so far I have not found an animal or a scenario where the small increase in velocity would matter at all. And I have been hunting and guiding for over 1/2 a century.
The 358 is easily made from 308 Winchester and 308 brass (7.62 NATO) is easy to get and pretty cheep. (sometimes free)

350 Rem mag is hard to get and costly.

If you need more power than you can get from a 358 Win you need more then the small gain you get from a 350. if a 358 Win is not enough I'd step up to a 9.3X62 or a 375H&H.
