Any well-made fixed 6X floats my boat. Have run or am running FX II 6X36, FX III 6X42, Meopta Meopro 6X42. Would like to try a Kaps Classic 6X42, Schmidt & Bender Klassic 6X42, Kahles Helia 6X42, and even the Super Chicken 6X42, just for grins.
The S&B 6x42 and the SWFA 6x42 are two mainstays for me. I posted earlier in this thread with a couple of recommendations........and I made the assumption the OP would be looking at variable scopes. The S&B and SWFA 6x42's are very dependable all-around scopes....being fixed, they are more dependable than a variable of the same build quality (though it may never make a difference).
