Have a couple close friends that both rent out properties on Airbnb.
One is a small home over towards Mt Rainer. She is booked up months out. Averages about $6-7k a month. Uses the app to handle bookings, payments, and even to schedule the cleaners. Seems pretty hands off, all things considered.
Other buddy has a property in the mountains just west of Denver. The rental is seasonal as winter access can be a sob. Never bitches it though?
He also owns a town home with long term renters. That one he has had issues with.
