Ya it could be set in auto brightness mode (which sucks no matter the country of origin). I didn’t think about that.
I have a Trijicon SRO that sees use once or twice a week minimum.
It was set to auto when I took it off the shelf and it has stayed there ever since.
There are zero issues with the auto brightness and motion activation.
