Was able to go to the range, rifle shot pretty well. I put 15rds of the factory 143 ELD-X through the rifle. First few shots down the new barrel were kinda wonky. The more I shot the better it got. Barrel gets hot enough to walk if you go too fast. 3 shot groups were rounded, about 1 3/8". Likely more shooting will help. I'm going to load up some of the Hammer 124 HH and try next time. Overall, working the rifle action felt a bit "gummy", so to speak. Best I can describe it, but not gritty or rough. For a hunting rifle virtually unnoticeable. I'm sure more use will have it smooth out enough.
