Well, got to the range again. I shot some 124 HH over VV N560 and a standard primer. I crimped them with a LEE FCD and set them .050 off the lands ( magazine length "might" allow them a tad longer). I ended just seating them 2.95". Anyhow, the midload went into about 2 1/2". Mild and Moderate both went wonky (5"+)
Its fine for just plain hunting with its factory load (under 300 yds anyway). I'm not sure if I'm going to sell it or not, it was just a good deal when I got it, ha. I still have 2 boxes of the 143 ELD-X factory for it. I'm still playing with higher priority projects. Its a good solid rifle though, can't complain, for the price.
