The few Cascades I have been around are excellent shooters, my buddy has one in .300 Win that outshoots my Tikka T3 Superlite .300 Win and my rifle shoots pretty damn good...The Tikka has a smoother bolt cycle but I actually like the stock fit of his Cascade better...I would buy one for the same reason I keep a Tikka in my safe, as a rainy day rifle..Good luck....Hb
