God no more cares who is President of this nation than he cared who ran Russia through the mid 20'th century, or who ran Germany in the '30s and early '40s, or who ran Cambodia in the '60s and '70s.

The assertion is based upon 10,000 years of History in which God has never intervened in the affairs of mortal men.
