Maybe the only reason Jon Tester doesn't run for President (and probably win) is his wife doesn't want to move to D.C. or be comfortable as First Lady.
She is a square-jawed Montana woman, who prefers to pull February calves. We could use a lot more men and women like them in D.C.
Our country would be far better off with significantly less people like them in D.C. We all know ranchers, farmers, mechanics, ad infinitum who are "good ole boys" and we all know some that are complete and total a-holes. We all know some who are extreme liberals and or leftists. We all know some who are conservative. Being a rancher in D.C. does us no good if said rancher is a semi-socialist liberal who will tow the party line and vote the agenda that, in my opinion, runs counter to the best interests of this country and, unfortunately, often counter to the U.S. Constitution. Because he is a rancher from Montana he is somehow a blue dog Democrat or middle of the road Democrat? He sure doesn't vote that way.
