Canada used to be really cool in the 70's and into the early 80's. After that, I don't know, it got all crazy...

70's: High School band trips -- Ottawa 1st gig, and Montreal 2nd gig, coming from northern NY in the Adirondacks.
Hilarious moment: On a dare, I approached a woman in a public park, and quoted the lyrics from "Lady Marmalade" by LaBelle. You remember the song where they all sudden start singing in French: Voulez-vous coucher avec moi? Well, I said that to the lady, and she looked at me, put her book down, and ripped into me in French, angrily speaking at 100 mph. Me and my friends hauled a$$ outta there, and rejoined back up with everyone else!

80's: USCG Station Buffalo, NY. We'd always go over the Peace Bridge into Fort Erie, Ontario and get plastered in the bars & clubs, and miraculously somehow we made it back through US Customs, and back to the base. Southern Ontario women will take care of you, that's for sure! Treat them wrong, and they will freakin' kick your a$$!
