I do have an Adirondack in 300bo with the skinny 16" 7 twist factory tube with the flared out for threads muzzle. I got it out last year so the kid could try it out but I couldn't get the adl mag box to feed the short little bo rounds.

I tried the tricks I thought I knew with adjusting the spring and the follower angle but so far I haven't figured it out. It would make a great 223 if I had a skinny barrel plumbed on but I'd like to get it feeding as a 300 bo. Anyone know the trick to that?

The kids would love the 300 bo suppressed with subsonic. I could get an m&p hollow point mold for it and cast and powder coat some cheap ammo for them.

I don't really want to cut on the stock but it already weighs under 5 pounds. If they follow me the boys will hit 6 foot tall at age 11 and the lop will be ok.
