I had that 243 throated for 105 amaxes at 2.79" back in the day when 6mm bullets didn't get much better than the 105 amax. I figured that would give me a bit to chase lands and it has but those 112s do look pretty long.
That's part of why I love the 6 creed. It leaves enough room in the mag box. I may need to convert the old 243 to aids because I won't go down the wyatts road again. Maybe I'll go to 108s in the 243 and switch the 6 creeds to 112s.
I've got a few thousand 108s on hand but the ar arc is using them too so they'll go away soon. Just before covid a local shop had 108s at $20 a box so I bought about 3000. Turns out the 6 creed fieldcraft loves 108s.
