Worst grouping patterning new rifle was a Weatherby Ultralight 338-06. Never consistant and averaged 4+ MOA with factory ammo. After a lot of work got it down to 3+ MOA with handloads. Nice light rifle didn't shoot for sh*t.

Used, a shot out M1 Garand. 16 MOA at 50yds and keyholing. Didn't expect much better than that, a bullet would drop into the muzzle about an inch before it stopped. I'd bet that you could push it the rest of the way with hand pressure on a cleaning rod. It was that bad. New tube fixed it.
